The In-Training form of Patamon, Tokomon first appeared in the 1st season of Digimon.

Digimon Adventure

Takeru met Tokomon almost immediately upon his arrival in the DigiWorld with the other kids, & formed a strong bond with him very quickly. When Kuwagamon threatened the kids, Tokomon digivolved into Patamon, along with the other Digimon, to beat him back. But when Angemon died to protect everyone, he was reborn as Poyomon & digivolved back to Tokomon, & stayed that way until Demi Devimon came along.

Digimon X-Evolution

A Digimon that ended up in the middle of the X-Digimon/Royal Knights war. Before and after he acquired the X-Antibody from Metal Garurumon, he became Dorumon's first friend. DORUmon was asked to protect him in the beginning of X-Evolution after what looked to be his original caretaker - a Blossommon - was killed by Omnimon. War Greymon X knew he couldn't take care of a child and still lead the rebelling.
