Palms is middle-class neighborhood in West Los Angeles, California. A triangular district bounded by the San Diego Freeway (I-405)/Sepulveda Boulevard on the southwest, the [Culver City]] boundary on the southeast, and the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) on the north. The major north-south thoroughfares are Sepulveda Blvd., Overland Avenue and Motor Ave., and the major east-west thoroughfares are National Blvd., Palms Boulevard and Venice Blvd.

The oldest community in west Los Angeles, Palms was founded in 1886 at a midpoint on an electric rail line between Los Angeles and Santa Monica. In 1915, the City of Los Angeles annexed Palms during the short term of Mayor Charles E. Sebastian.

The area has a large center of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness on Watseka Ave. and is also the home to the IMAN Center (the Iranian-American Muslim Association of North America) on Motor Ave. It boasts two unusual museums, the Museum of Jurassic Technology and the Center for Land Use Interpretation.

As its southern boundary lies across the street from Sony Studios in Culver City, Palms has some ancillary Sony offices and also houses several companies linked to the television and film industries.
