Heartland is a country music band from Huntsville, Alabama. Relatively unknown for a decade, Heartland signed with an independent record label called Lofton Creek Records in 2006. The group's debut single, "I Loved Her First", quickly climbed to #1 in late 2006. The album of the same name was released in October 2006.

Heartland has since parted ways with Lofton Creek, and signed to a new label known as Country Thunder Records.[1][2]
